Cory Mongar

Operations Manager

Cory often describes himself as an old soul even though he is only 30 years old. Cory grew up in Iowa almost all of his life while excelling in both academics and athletics the latter of which led him to pursue his Bachelors degree in Marketing and Management at Iowa State University. After a few years in the military and finishing college in 2016 he began his very eventful career. While mainly in manufacturing leadership roles, 2020 and the pandemic led him to move to Texas after accepting a new role with Anheuser-Busch InBev as a Business Process Manager. The next step in his career led him to his first Operations Manager role in a 24/7 logistics warehouse which included opening an entirely new 200k sqft warehouse and implementing a new software. In September 2022, Cory’s wife Lindsey gave birth to their beautiful daughter Milena which determined a career switch was needed to maintain work life balance. Cory has been with LGA since that point as the Operations Manager and has eagerly adapted to the industry and the surprises that are brought with it. Cory is very optimistic about the future of LGA and the growth of the team. Cory’s favorite career advice, “Great leaders make it clear that they welcome challenges, criticism, and viewpoints other than their own. They know that an environment where people are afraid to speak up, offer insight, and ask good questions is destined for failure.”
Cory’s favorite part about his job is building the team and positively impacting those around him whether through a simple comedic moment or something more heartfelt. In his free time, Cory loves socializing with friends, enjoying pretty much any activities out of the house, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Cory is finishing his Masters degree with a General MBA from LSU-Shreveport and is looking forward to all that his family and career have to offer him.
