## Add smoke containment without building a separate elevator lobby.

SmokeShield is an automatically deploying elevator smoke curtain designed to help contain smoke at hoistway openings. LGA Garage Door has certified technicians for installation and service and has delivered approximately 50 units over the past two years.

Each opening still requires project-specific coordination with the fire-alarm interface, mounting conditions, egress requirements, approved documents, and the authority having jurisdiction.

##  Plan the complete SmokeShield opening 

Product selection and field coordination should cover the opening, controls, mounting, finish, access, and required testing.

###  Code and listing review 

Coordinate the specified system, approved documents, fire-alarm interface, and project requirements.

###  Custom dimensions 

Confirm opening size, mounting surface, headroom, guides, headbox, and finish selections.

###  Emergency operation 

Plan battery-backed deployment, reopening controls, emergency access, and reset procedures.
