Dock Shelters

We offer five distinct dock shelter models designed to provide optimal protection and energy efficiency for your loading dock operations. Dock shelters play a crucial role in safeguarding your facility from the elements and improving energy conservation by creating a seal between the loading dock and the trailer.

Our selection of dock shelters include: TC400 Rigid Wood Frame, TC300 Flexible Steel Frame, TC900 Soft Sided, and TC1000 Weather Sentry™.

TC400 Rigid Wood Frame

Key Features of the TC400 Rigid Wood Frame

  • Durable Framework: Constructed with a durable rigid frame of double kiln-dried pressure-treated lumber or steel tube framing, featuring a raked header for effective drainage.
  • Steel Channel Protectors: Equipped with steel channel protectors to prevent damage from misguided trailers.
  • Services High Volume Traffic: Designed to accommodate a wide range of high-volume traffic with varying widths and heights while providing unimpeded access to the interior of the trailer.
  • Yellow Guide Stripes: Standard yellow guide stripes assist in positioning trailers, and foam bottom draft pads help prevent air flow.

TC300 Flexible Steel Frame

Key Features of the TC300 Flexible Steel Frame

  • Services High Volume Traffic: Designed to accommodate a wide variety of vehicle sizes and types, ensuring unimpeded access to the interior of the trailer.
  • Yieldable Framework: The flexible steel X arm frame yields to misguided vehicles, preventing costly building and shelter damage. It moves upwards and back if an off-center trailer contacts it, returning to its original position after the vehicle leaves.
  • Shelter Protection: Equipped with a steel bumper stop assembly to protect the shelter from damage caused by misguided trailers.
  • Yellow Guide Stripes: Standard yellow guide stripes assist in positioning trailers, and foam bottom draft pads help prevent air flow.

TC900 Soft Sided

Key Features of the TC900 Soft Sided

  • Durable Foam Side Frames: The shelter features durable foam side frames mounted to double kiln-dried lumber at the wall, with removable side curtains attached to high-impact polypropylene on the inside of foam pads at the face.
  • Services High Volume Traffic: Designed to accommodate a wide variety of vehicle sizes and types, ensuring unimpeded access to the interior of the trailer.
  • Self-Supported Head Canopy: Comes standard with a structurally self-supported head canopy that is translucent and raked for drainage. Head and side curtains have ScotchPly® stays to seal tightly against the trailer.
  • Yellow Guide Stripes: Standard yellow guide stripes assist in positioning trailers, and foam bottom draft pads help prevent air flow.

TC1000 Weather Sentry™

Key Features of the TC1000 Weather Sentry™

  • RoughFlex™: The RoughFlex™ base fabric with Max Flex™ reinforcement on the header and "L" pads provides maximum durability, ensuring long-lasting performance.
  • WeatherSentry™: The WeatherSentry™ rain diverting system tightly seals the entire trailer roof, blocking out water and providing access to full trailer height.
  • Weatherseal: Perfect for use when the drive approach slopes into the building, allowing rainwater to funnel into the dock area.
  • Yellow Guide Stripes: Yellow guide stripes on the "L" pad assist in positioning the trailer, while bottom filler panels at each "L" pad prevent air flow into the loading dock area.
